I’m joining the protest against the Cyber Martial Law by adding a small protest ribbon on my websites. I’m against the provisions (Online libel) which threaten Internet Freedom in Republic Act No. 10175 or the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012. I created this WordPress plugin that will put a black ribbon image with the words “Stop Cyber Martial Law” on the top right corner of your website. The image is linked to the Philippine Internet Freedom Alliance‘s (http://pifa.ph/) website.
If you want to use this plugin, just download it and upload via the Install Plugins upload tab, then activate.
Here’s the screenshot of the Dashboard Settings. Ribbon 1 is the default ribbon. Select Ribbon 2 from the drop down menu if you prefer to use the second ribbon then click Save Ribbon.
