I’ve been testing WordPress 3.0 Beta 2 two weeks ago in my local WordPress install. Just recently Upgraded to WordPress 3.0 RC1 or Release Candidate. A Release Candidate comes after beta and before the final launch, so this could mean any time next week or next month, WP 3.0 will finally be launched! Woot! I couldn’t wait. So excited for it!
Testing Twenty Ten 1.0 WP theme
There are plenty of new features in WordPress 3.0 making it even more powerful, and I’m looking forward to using it especially these:
- Multiblog – run a network of blogs within one single install.
- Twenty Ten – new default well built theme packed with cool features, clean typography and strong focus on SEO.
- New Menu Management System – makes it easy to create and manage multiple menus.
- Custom Background Support – add custom background in a theme
- Bulk Updates for Themes and Plugins – big time saver
